The WPVH is a toll free number, that your employees can call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and speak anonymously to a trained specialist, to report wrongdoing.
Why is the WPVH Necessary?
- Employees may not be comfortable reporting wrong doing to their supervisors.
- It may then go unreported or employees will report it to their lawyer, the police, the media or Government regulatory agencies.
- Compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act (U.S.)
- Canadian MI-52-110, which states that companies under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Securities Commission have a anonymous and confidential process for employees to report wrongful accounting and auditing issues.
